Melbourne usually draws a few A-listers to the starting grid, but not so this year. We’d been promised Iggy Pop by Red Bull, which would have been cool. The AGP Corporation had already announced Daniel Craig would make an appearance (presumably to recruit Adrian Newey to Q Branch). And Axl Rose, who likes a bit of F1, was in town and down as a possible.
Instead, photographers didn’t have much to work with, but here are a few notables (okay, we’re really stretching things here) we did stumble upon in the paddock.
Good news though. Guns N’ Roses are playing at Sepang next Sunday night so there’s a chance we might still meet Axl. Although he’s always four hours late.
